UPDATE 9-09: My son is now 10 and I have a 5 yr-old daughter. This trampoline has lasted through tons of use. We continue to find fun things to do with it. We have used it on the end of a dock to jump into water. It has been part of ‘obstacle’ courses. It is great for exercise and balance. The only thing that has given a little is the blue outer ring. Not a big issue but with multiple children using it for over 6 years, there are some tears to the vinyl. Nothing a little duct tape won’t fix! The trampoline base has no signs or wear or deterioration and the legs are solid and straight.

I bought this for my “just-turned” four-year-old son who, like most boys, loves to jump on the sofa, the bed and anything that looks a little bouncy.

It was easy to set up (it says you need three adults but my husband and I did it easily). It appears well crafted and durable — time will tell.

The directions say that it is good for up to 200 lbs.

My 37 lb son had a lot of fun jumping right away, although he did not jump as high as one thinks of with a trampoline. But for a small, indoor trampoline, I don’t think you want your children flying too high. I also think that as his weight and ability increase, he will get more bounce out of it.

My biggest reasons for buying it are the safety (no springs, padded edge) and the size. I can easily remove the feet and slip it under a bed.

On a really hot day, we can still burn off extra energy inside.

We put a chair at the edge (turned around) and he then had a handle to hold while jumping.

Safety is a big factor with any toy that increases the movement of your child so we went over all the safety rules before he took one step on. I think that any toy is as safe as its surroundings, supervision and appropriate use.

We also have the Jump-o-lene (an inflatable jumping toy). Although we enjoy that as well, it takes up a lot of room and requires a lot of push to gain any bounce. I am hoping this is the next step up in strengthening leg muscles and increasing one, and two footed coordination.

I use this minitrampoline for cardio exercise (jogging in place) when the outside temperature, or my knees, tell me not to run.

This is my second mini-trampoline. The first one used springs instead of the elastic bands. The spring design sucked. I trained for a marathon and put many hours on it. I decided it was unsafe to use after the 4th spring broke (from fatigue or friction – probably a combination of both). I bought replacement springs and discovered one needs a special tool or superhuman strength to put them on.

That’s when I discovered the design was changed to incorporate bands, replacing the springs. Much better. I happily purchased the newly designed unit for which this review is written. I have put many many hours on this new “band” unit and so far no problems.

I guess amazon description must have been screwed up before, that’s why this item got all negative reviews and mostly bcoz it was not described correctly.

Well, I knew what I was getting – only an enclosure and i knew that would fit a 14″ trampoline thta i had bought earlier.

I received the item in only about 4 days. Opened it and was able to assebmle/install this in probably an hour and half. This enclosure is the right height and seems sturdy. Kids also got the extra comfort while playing/jumping.

I would definitely recommend this product if you are buying PureFun 14″ trampoline or any other 14″ trampoline with 8-poles (4 pairs).

The enclosure is very nice – however, we purchased this for a 6 pole tramoline AS SHOWN IN THE PICTURE – and the enclosure we received is an 8 pole net – will not work!!!!

This tramp has a better thought-out enclosure than ones we’ve had before–more secure, with zipper door openings on two sides. Stability and bounce are both good. Our ten- and five-year olds both love it. The only caution I’d have to other purchasers is that the instructions leave out a crucial detail: when you begin assembly of frame, be sure that small holes on all t-shaped pieces face outward. Otherwise, you will not be able to secure upright poles at the end, and will have to dismantle the whole thing. We learned this the hard way. But then, nobody ever accused me of being handy…

We purchased the jumpPod last Christmas for our 8 year old daughter to use as an indoor trampoline

(We have a large home Gym.)Not only do she and her cousin use it daily, But my husband and I (he weighs 190 lbs I weigh 135 lbs) use it almost every day as a rebound exerciser.

I am sure the manufacturer would not advise this, and granted we aren’t doing back flips or jumping as hard as we could, but compared to the mini tramps you see at the sports stores this is much bigger, sturdier, and a whole lot more fun! It has a very “soft” bounce unlike some of the others that make you feel like you are jumping on a spring supported potato sack.

We have all been using it it regularly for almost a year now and have only had to replace a couple of springs (my husband gets a little over zealous with his jumping.)

Would and have, highly recommend this trampoline. Very well built, and worth every penny. If you have the room to use it inside your kids will be endlessly entertained!

We also purchased the seperate circus tent cover for the JumpPod. It also is well made easy to assemble, and the girls love using it as a fort/ hideout and place to do shows.

The quality is top notch, and i have to say this thing is HUGE!! the pictures do no justice to how large it is.

assembly was easy, but had some labor involved, but i was doing it alone, …and the instructions recommend that you have a partner, so its my fault.

of course eventually the mat will rot away ..but as long as that’s replaceable…i think this tramp will last a long time….just how i like my tramps…

I received this trampoline within three days or ordering it…. with no shipping fees! I must say that it was much bigger than I thought it would be!! It took about 30-45 minutes to put together with a partner. This is a great buy, and I would recommend this trampoline to everyone who’s looking to buy one….

This is my 3rd rebounder. This is probably the best quality version. I weigh 220 plus pounds. People buy equip like this and expect miracle results in 2-3 sessions. It doesn’t work like that. But if you work out every other day for 2-3 weeks, you will see results in the mirror. I work out with 2-5 lb freeweights. The cut(s) you get from this you can’t get anywhere. I’ve been rebounding off/on since 1995.

There is marketing. There is hype. Is it all true? Mostly yes. You probably can’t buy a more user friendly piece of work out equip. Yes, it gets boring. But mix it up with jogging, treadmill, swimming, etc. and you get a whole package.

My 5 yr old watches the video and imitates the instructor verbatim. He’s amazing with it. He has super discipline. My kid, that is.

There are studies on this and how it activates a gland (name escapes me) that increases the flow of getting rid of toxins in your system. There are other attributes associated, such as vision, balance, etc. It may be more true for some, than others. But for under 0, you are getting an investment in a machine/tool that doesn’t really compare to anything prior.

The construction is decent. When I saw the quality/price, I threw out my old one (which was still in workable condition) and started off with this.

I have read a lot of reviews for rebounders were people had problems with the springs breaking or coming off. To my relief this hasn’t been a problem for me (knock on wood). I use my rebounder regularly (4-6 times a week) so it’s not from lack of use! I was a little nervouse opening it up, but no problems there either, tho I will admit I don’t fold it back down – I just store it set up.

As for the work out – I was surprised at how good it is. I use the gym regularly – but still found my self a bit whipped by the cardio the first time I tried it. It doesn’t leave me in pain, but I can “feel” I’ve had a decent work out.If you’re not used to exercise I would suggest starting off easy (read as: don’t bounce, just go through the motions as best you can) and be sure to stretch afterwards to avoid hurting/soreness.

I’m really diggin’ it – at first I felt silly on it, but it saves me time by not having to always go to the gym, and I’ve shed some weight, which is always a good thing! No problems here!

I have two high-energy kids – a 5 year old boy and a 3 year old girl – so I’d been searching for an indoor trampoline that would allow them to have fun while safely expending some of that amazing kid-energy during the winter.

We researched a lot of trampolines and ended up getting them the Bazoongi 48″ Bouncer trampoline for Christmas. It’s been a huge hit.

Here are the pros and cons we’ve experienced so far.

PROS

- As shown in the item image, the blue outer ring completely covers the springs. (This is a big deal when you have little kids as you don’t want them to get a foot caught between two of those.) My understanding from reading reviews of other trampolines is that many are not built in a way that fully covers these pieces.

- The Bazoongi Bouncer has six legs which I suspect makes it more sturdy than models that have only four.

- For us, 48″ is the perfect size for an indoor trampoline. It’s big enough to allow the kids adequate jumping space and yet small enough to fit in our not-so-large living room.

- The bar that is attached to the trampoline for support is fully padded – there are no sharp or metal parts exposed. It’s also seems to be a great height for both our kids to hold onto.

- The trampoline allows for good jumping. (It has a nice “bounce”, which is obviously very important from a fun-factor perspective.)

CONS

- The weight limit is 80 pounds, so my husband and I can’t jump on it (which is a shame as it looks like a lot of fun.)

- Even with the extra two legs, my son (who is around 50 lbs) sometimes seem to wobble it a little when he leans on the support bar too heavily. This is probably our biggest issue with the trampoline, as it makes me a little uneasy. However, to be fair, it’s only wobbled when he’s leaned very heavily, and he probably shouldn’t do that. I suspect if you use it outside you could tether it to stakes in the ground or something and not have this issue.

- Assembly was not as bad as we expected reading some other trampoline assembly reviews. My husband is quite handy and was able to have it up and ready in about a half-hour. He did get his hands pretty dirty though as it comes greased, so you might want to avoid attempting assembly on your light-colored carpeting.

- The cost is more than some of the other models we reviewed, however it really does seem to be a good, sturdy bouncer and I suspect we’ll get a lot of use out of it, so I feel it’s worth the extra cost.

As with all trampolines, you should never leave your kids alone when using them, and only one child should be on the trampoline at a time. (We had Santa leave a note for the kids with safety rules.)

My son is 3 and has Autism along with some sensory issues. This is a fantastic way for him to get sensory input! It has 6 legs, which makes it very stable (as opposed to the square, 4-legged models) and the springs give it great bouncing potential (as opposed to the models that use bungee cords). The weight limit is 100 pounds so I know he will get a lot of use out of it! The handle is great, although my son doesn’t use it since his arms are short and when he holds the handle he can’t bounce in the middle. Each child is different, so use your judgment on this…the handle can be removed if you feel this works for your child. Either way, adult supervision is a must. Overall, we are extremely happy with this purchase.

I read all the reviews on this product before buying it for Christmas. There were no bad reviews and you won’t get one from me either – but I will point out a few minor issues. First of all, and most importantly, my 5 year old LOVES this toy!! She has jumped on it every day since we finally managed to get it put together – and the time it took us to get it together wasn’t due to procrastination. Also, the part that is supposed to count, say the ABC’s, and whatever else it’s supposed to do has never worked.

If I were rating this toy strictly on the ease of putting it together and the tracker piece it would only get one – maybe two – stars. And the sad thing is, I’m sure the company would be more than willing to replace the piece that has never worked but I don’t want to take it apart to make the exchange just to get a new one and have to put it back together again.

So, to summarize: It’s not very easy to put together, and I don’t have much confidence in the tracker part since ours hasn’t worked from day one BUT… the kids will LOVE it and while it would be better if all the bells and whistles actually worked, it doesn’t detract from the entertainment factor.

Would I recommend this product to others? ABSOLUTELY – but you may want to have a drink or two in you before attempting to put it together, just to calm your nerves first

My kid’s (5 & 3 years old) received this from Santa last year for xmas. They still play with it everyday. The only reason I give it a 4 out of 5 stars is because it does take up room (think typical exercise trampoline) so not easy to store because of handles. Also, it takes up to 3 hours to put together. Yes..3 hours!! Trust me, the elves were working late that night. Oh and you need 2 elves to assemble & “tie” the bungee.

Once it’s together it’s the toy that gets the most use in our house hands down.

No assembly required – just screw on the legs and you’re ready to go. Also, there was no odor (a complaint that people have had about some other brands), so it wasn’t necessary to air it out before use. but maybe that’s only a problem in hot weather. It appears to be well-made, but only time will tell.

My 3 1/2 and 20 month old LOVE this! They bounce everyday and both are well within the weight limit. The bungee (cord that holds the net to the frame) broke the first month. My husband managed to tie it back together and we have since had to tie it 3 times – bungee broke in 4 different spots total. We have run out of length to tie it this last time. My kids are heartbroken and we’ve only had this for 3 months! Great toy, but will break quickly…

Apparently, a new bungee is ! Deciding if is worth 3 more months….

We bought this for our 2 year old son for Christmas and he has used it everyday since. He had a bounce house for his birthday party in October and had started bouncing on everything. He loves to bounce while he watches TV. It is great for rainy days when you can’t go outside to burn off that extra toddler energy. It was also pretty easy for my husband and I to put together took about 30 minutes.
